- A Mandarin school for children

The school receives inquiries from parents, then its staff follow up, schedule placement tests and classes, and issue invoices. All of that needs one app the whole team uses.
The app was built by a team. Our part was most of the web front end: the pages staff use and the forms for parents.
What we built
Opening a new class
Staff fill in the class details, assign teachers and staff, then add the study schedule.
- Class information: branch, program category, class type and name, and the period.
- The assigned teachers and staff, from the main teacher to the student care supervisor.
Recording payments
Payments are recorded against invoices that have been processed.
- Pick an invoice, and its billing value and bank account fill in.
- The date and amount received open up only after an invoice is picked.
Also included
- Lead and student profiles
- Parent interview form
- Public inquiry form
- Master data
Details we took care of
- Profiles that stay light
- A lead's profile has eight tabs. The data is fetched once, and each tab loads only when it's opened.
- Invoice totals while editing
- Changing the VAT or admin fee updates the total right away. Once the invoice is processed, it locks.
- One form for several children
- Parents can add or remove a child in the same form without the details getting mixed up, then send everything at once.
- Buttons that open the right tab
- A placement booking opens the tab that matches its type: class trial, placement test, or direct placement.
The same approach works for
- Courses and tutoring centers
- Schools
- Studios and sports clubs
- Services with schedules and invoices
Notes
A client project built by a team. Screenshots were taken in a development environment without data.
More projects
- WiFi Billing
- Monthly billing for neighborhood internet providers. Invoices go out on their own, customers get reminders on WhatsApp, and cashiers check payment receipts in one place.
- Affluena
- Personal finance for individuals and couples, on web and mobile. Wallets can be shared, so two people work from the same numbers.
- Divine Signal
- Crypto trading signals from Telegram channels, read automatically, turned into structured data, and followed until they hit a target or a stop loss.
- SIPPKBPD
- Electronic ID card recording requests for residents with disabilities. Each request moves up from the neighborhood to the district, and every step is recorded.
